Egypt has the most awe inspiring combination of natural and man made wonders - home to a variety of cultures and peoples who have in common a natural dignity and, for the most part, a tradition of hospitality.

Abu Simbel fascinated me ever since, as a child, I saw the televised account of its removal, stone by stone, to evade the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
After three visits the enchantment has increased.
Given the choice the preferred approach is by cruiser from Aswan. For me this is the Wonder of Wonders. MF
